The Royal Ulster Rifles (RUR) is a rifle regiment of the British Army, with a long and distinguished history. The regiment was first raised in 1793, and has served in numerous conflicts around the world, including the Boer War, the First World War, and the Second World War.

In 1950, the RUR was deployed to Korea as part of the United Nations force that was fighting to defend South Korea from a North Korean invasion. The RUR fought in several major battles during the Korean War, including the Battle of Inchon, the Battle of the Imjin River, and the Battle of Maryang-San.
